Mercedes and Quinn fight over New Directions assignment, but Quinn gets in touch with her “funky” side. Meanwhile, Terri Schuester returns with a plan while Will has some plans of his own for Sue.

The long road to Sectionals is almost over, but not before a lot of bumps in the road. The mid-season break brings a lot of surprises and awesome performances. Regionals are at stake and things will get crazy before anyone can get there.

Rachel’s struggle not to be ignored spreads to the rest of the Glee club when their yearbook photo is threatened by budget cuts. Elsewhere, Terri faces more problems in her relationship with Will.
